User Comments: Great wax for an excellent scent throw, just hope the manufacturers stop messing with the formulation.

User Comments: Have used this for 4 years and find that it is not performing as it used to. Shinks and shrinks terribly and is a yellowish color. Also find that it is much harder. Stopped using 223 and went to JS123 and am delighted at the difference. Will NEVER use J223 ever again.

User Comments: An excellent parrafin wax for containers; able to hold high percentage of fragrance oil. I have to agree with other commenter about quality; over the years I am seeing more shrinking.

User Comments: Astrolite J-223 was the wax that I began using 6 years agi when I began making candles. At first I had no problems at all. It was as easy to make candles as it was to boil an egg. After I reorder the wax for the 3rd time, the batch number changed and the formula was obviously different. I have never been able to get the same strongly scented cold throw or worderful hot throw that I once achieved. As a result, I have been trying several different types of waxes. I have decided to give the wax one more try. I recently placed an order for J-223 again. I will be back with my review.

Fragrance Oil Name: Sweet Apple Crisp
