| User Comments: | This used to make the best container candles but since Honeywell sold out its wax production to IGI, it is not the same. I imagine all of the wax is different now. It used to come in pellet form but now it comes as a powder. Honeywell could not get an ingredient for its wax since the tsunami. Although, they say it hasn't changed, that it is still the same formula as always. The new wax is harder, you can't re-melt it, it doesn't burn right, and it is a powder. I wish they would get the formula right. As a matter of fact, I don't think they make it anymore. I can't find anyone who sales it and it is not listed on their site. I have a 55lb bag that I was told was Astorlite F but it doesn't say that anywhere on the bag. It is a vegetable wax that feathers, used for making pillar candles. |

| User Comments: | This is by far the most amazing wax I have ever used. It hardens with a beautiful and unique feather/crystalizing effect that I've never seen before. Friends, family, and customers always request candles made with this wax, as it makes the candles look like a work of art. Unfortunately, the manufacturer seems to either have gone out of business and/or sold this product, because it is very hard to find now. If you can get your hands on it, stock up!! |
